I want to know what goes on in Gatsby's mind when he sees me. Why does he get so nervous around me and why does he get so quiet? Oh, well. Everyone's going out for a drive, and when I mean everyone- Tom, Nick, Jordan, Gatsby and I- are all going. As Tom and I are together, I can't shake the feeling that I lonely without Gatsby by my side. Why do I feel this way around my husband? Should I tell Tom how I feel or keep it a secret? We see Wilson and his wife, Myrtle, when we stopped. Wilson found out that his wife was having an affair with someone, but he couldn't figure it out. Gatsby and Tom walked somewhere and had a rather unpleasant conversation about me. After that, Gatsby, pretty much said nothing to me, but offered to take me home. I agreed, and we drove off, leaving the others. Mad, that Tom and Gatsby argued, made me feel like I'm to explore. Then, Boom, I hit something. Myrtle! I didn't know what to do, I didn't see her because I was speeding and I guess she just walked onto the road. I decided to drive off, with Gatsby, and hide, hoping no one saw what happened. Gatsby said that he would take the blame if anyone found out. I couldn't help feeling helpless, but agreed to his plan. When Tom was home, we settled our differences and feel deeper in love, but the guilt was just beginning.
